Soon it will be Opening Night for the Santa Fe Opera! This year, the production to begin the 2023 Festival Season is Puccini’s monumental story of love, lust and political intrigue – Tosca. Begin your evening with a glass of sparkling wine, then enjoy an Italian-themed buffet complete with wine for the table; all included in the event fee!
Guests will hear a presentation by Desirée Mays, an international speaker on opera, radio producer and author of the Opera Unveiled series. Desirée’s talk will delve into Puccini’s masterpiece of violent behavior with its themes of passion and trauma, from the ominous opening chords to the heart-stopping conclusion.
Registration is now open for the June 30th event! The dinner, sponsored by the Guilds of the Santa Fe Opera, provides a unique experience at the delightful Dapples Pavilion on the Opera’s campus. Enjoy this outdoor setting, with gorgeous vistas and beautiful gardens, while socializing with other opera enthusiasts.
Dinner Tickets: $125.00 per person ($45 tax deductible)
