The Santa Fe Opera Guild’s Annual Luncheon is in-person for the first time since 2020!  Our guest speaker will be Daniel James, the Santa Fe Opera’s recently appointed Director of Artistic Administration, who previously was the music administrator and artistic media manager for the Houston Grand Opera in Houston. He graduated from the Juilliard School, from which he also received a master’s degree in music. Mr. James is looking forward to meeting our members and guests and sharing the joys and challenges that come with the job of engaging the services of principal singers, stage directors, and production designers for a world-class opera company. 

This year's luncheon will be held in the beautiful Santa Fe room at the La Fonda on the Plaza™ hotel on Thursday, February 16, 2023. The Santa Fe room features 25 foot ceilings adorned with intricate pounded tin chandeliers while the stunning terracotta bas relief tiles adorn the doors. Original 1920's artwork completes the look, creating an intimate and charming environment.

The pre-lunch reception will begin at 11:30 am with lunch at 12 noon. The menu will include a salad, choice of entrée, dessert, and coffee or tea. A cash bar will be available for those wishing to purchase wine, beer, or a cocktail.

The cost for Santa Fe Opera Guild members is $55 per person and $65 per person for non-members. Members at the $80 level and up can bring a guest at the member rate.
